Kamlika Chandla Custom Painting Prices

Prices are determined by….

  • Size of the artwork (eg. portraits -head and shoulders are usually done on a 16 by 20', but torso or full body are on larger panels).

  • Medium & Method ( Oil on panel/canvas, charcoal/graphite on paper)

  • Complexity & Scope of the project (eg. time, logistics, specific travel/setting arrangements.)

    • All artwork is made keeping the principles of conservation and preservation of the piece over time, hence only museum grade/archival materials i.e. canvas, pigments, paper, mediums are used by the artist. Framing is mostly outsourced.

    • Price ranges based on all of the above! Portraiture (Head, Torso, or full body) $5000 USD to $20000 USD.

    • Still life/landscapes $2500 USD to $25000 USD

    • Drawings - $1500 USD to $5000 USD

    • Horses - $5000 USD to $30000 USD

    • Sculpture - $5000 USD to $20000 USD

How It Works

  • Connect with me! Share your vision. I’ll give you my ideas and we can come up with a beautiful piece for you. We can decide on a photo session or modeling in my studio (or collation).

  • After discussing key details, I prepare a custom quote for your artwork. We discuss timelines and the project scope.

  • Portraits happens over a few sit-downs or through a photo provided by you, and in no time your family will be enjoying your custom artwork – for decades to come.
